The Albert Einstein Institution is pleased to announce that our Executive Director, Jamila Raqib, will be speaking at the 2014 Oslo Freedom Forum on "The Success of Nonviolent Struggle."  

Her presentation will take place on Wednesday October 22, as part of a session on "The Hope of Peaceful Resistance."  The session will begin at 14:30 Central European Time, and will include Russian chess Grandmaster, writer, and political activist Gary Kasparov, Cuban blogger and co-founder of Contodos Magazine Yoani Sanchez, and Harvard professor, linguist, and cognitive psychologist Steven Pinker.  

All of the talks at the Oslo Freedom Forum are being live streamed on oslofreedomforum.com, beginning at 9:00 CET on October 21.

We at the Albert Einstein Institution are excited to be a part of this 2014 Forum, which is dedicated to "Defeating Dictators."  Joining us will be dissidents, activists, world leaders, journalists, policymakers, entrepreneurs, artists, philanthropists, and scholars from 13 countries.
