Community Note

Workplace CSA
Convenience makes a big difference in today's busy world, so we are looking to expand our CSA program to include Workplace CSA locations.  Want to get your share delivered to your place of business?  We are looking for individuals in our community to become sponsors for Workplace CSA locations.  This could be as little as putting us in touch with the right person, to being the host of a location at your place of employment.    Continue reading on our web site

Rebecca's Recipes

Rebecca Mastoris is a chef/teacher at Bauman College, and a partner with Karen Haralson in Vibrant Foods Catering. Both Karen and Rebecca teach cooking classes at the Farm, in town locally (at  Let's Cook! Santa Cruz), and the last Sunday of each month at Williams Sonoma in Los Gatos. Go to VibrantFoodsCatering.com for more information and to register.

Discovery Program

Summer Camps at Live Earth Farm

We have surpassed our Spring Fundraising goals (yay!) and have plenty of scholarships available.

Looking for a Summer Camp for the kids?  This year our Discovery Program is offering three camps:  Art on the Farm Camp, Young Farmers Camp, and Sprouts Camp.  Summer is such a brilliant time on the farm.  The experience is warm, sunny, bright, and full of flavor.  Our days are filled with fun activities designed to encourage creative expression in many different media.  We make art, crafts, snacks, preserves, garden beds, and great friends.  During the course of the week we plant, weed, harvest, water, cut, cook, can, weave, print, paint, all in the beautiful setting of Live Earth Farm.

There's even a 10% discount for CSA members, returning campers, siblings and coupon holders (only one discount may be applied per family).  Regular price of $350 per camper.
