Dr. McIvor's sermon is "Truth Is a Fairy Tale" based on Revelation 21.1-6. Fairy tales always end, "And they all lived happily ever after." Is real life like a fairy tale? (All realists quietly mutter No.) However the Bible ends with, "Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away." Sounds like a fairy tale to me.

Chili Cookoff
April 28th at 5:00pm
Cost is only $5/person, $15/family. Bring your best recipe! (or just eat!) Also provided are drinks, salad, & ice cream sundaes to cool off. Proceeds benefit the Youth Group Mission Trips.
The Senior High Youth Group should show up at 4:00pm to set up and plan to stay late to help clean up! |

Pentecostal Pancakes
May 19th, 9:30-11:00am
The Senior High Youth Group will be flipping pancakes and turning sausages from 9:30-10:30am. Please join us for breakfast and the single Pentecost service at 11:00am. Cost is $5/person or $15/family. Proceeds support the Senior High Youth Group Mission Trip to MATE this summer. |
