Pies for Pets - October 1 through November 18
|
Our annual Pies for Pets sale was a great success!
St. Croix Animal Friends supporters helped us raise money by selling delicious Perkins pies. If you bought pies from us, don't forget to pick them up at the Hudson Perkins on Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday, November 25, 26, and 27.
Proceeds support our animal service programs such as Reaching Out Pet Food Assistance, Low Cost Spay/Neuter, Emergency Medical Assistance, Microchipping, School Pals Visits, and Foster/Adoption to name a few as well as the building fund for our future Humane Society Adoption and Education Center.

Here's a twist on the typical fundraising event. Our last event of the year is a virtual event where supporters choose from activities they don't want to do, and donate money accordingly. The flyer is humorous and the event takes place near the end of the year when many people are considering tax deductible giving. Sound like fun? It is!

First American Bank's Denim with a Cause Program Donation
|
First American Bank in Hudson, WI recently donated $500 to St. Croix Animal Friends through their Denim with a Cause program. Denim with a Cause was created to raise money and awareness for local charities and non-profit organizations. Every Friday for $5 donation FAB employees can wear Denim with a Cause. One hundred percent of all proceeds go directly to the organization. First American Bank is located at 2424 Monetary Blvd Suite 107 at the corner of Hanley and Carmichael in Hudson.

Capital Campaign Steering Committee
|
This is an exciting time! We are about to do something that has never been done before in St. Croix County and we want you to be a part of it!!!
We are well on our way to starting our Capital Campaign to build a Humane Society Adoption and Education Center to serve the St. Croix County area but we need committee members. The Steering Committee is made up of multiple sub-committees. Each sub-committee chair will have a seat on the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee and the sub-committees will meet monthly, on a pre-set and agreed upon time, date and place. Meetings will be no longer than one hour, and will start and end on time. To accomplish tasks within the time stated, limited pre-reading and other work will be part of the commitment.
Agendas, minutes of previous meeting, and any additional forms will be sent to each member electronically one week prior to each meeting.
