Thank You Leadership Mobile!
A program of Mobile United, Leadership Mobile's mission is to seek, train and empower leaders who are committed to supporting and leading community growth and progress through networking and collaborative problem solving. The eight-month program is a balanced mix of seminars, retreats and group project work.
This year, the workforce development team of the Class of 2013, has selected a project in direct support of the SAWDC Worlds of Opportunity. The project will result in an Educator Workshop, which will better prepare teachers and counselors throughout the SAWDC 8-county region to encourage student engagement at the 2013 SAWDC Worlds of Opportunity (WoO), equip teachers and counselors with resources to utilize in the classroom prior to and after WoO to enhance the experience of the event, and emphasize soft skills training in the classroom.
