This month, we're going to focus on a few of the free consulting resources available to business:
1. Small Business Development Center (SBDC) - provides variety of consulting in confidential, one-on-one sessions (e.g., start-up planning, market research) and puts on events (e.g., Small Business Basics.)
2. Northwest Ohio Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) - provides a variety of services related to continuous improvement, supply chain, technology acceleration, workforce and sustainability through a regional network.
3. Rocket Ventures - part of the State's tech-based Entrepreneurial Signature Program, Rocket Ventures helps entrepreneurs and early stage companies ramp up their business, find funding, and succeed.
4. International Trade Assistance Center (ITAC) - based at the Toledo Chamber, the ITAC provides exporters or companies considering export free, in-depth consultation to develop an export strategy, research markets, procure export financing and insurance, and many other services.
5. Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC) - provides variety of services, from accounting to marketing, business plan development to contract procurement. Housed at Toledo Chamber.
