November - NGL Issue 2

This issue of I.D.E.A.S. focuses on The Next Generation Luminaires Design Competition. NGL gives special acknowledgment to energy efficient lighting products identified as superior. We're so proud that 14 (Issue 2 shown here) of our lines were selected in this year's indoor category, representing 21 winning lighting products! See the list of lighting products below that have been proven worthy to be specified.
"RECOGNIZED ACCENT" MX RECESSED MULTIPLE & TRACK

This new generation in accent lighting is great for directional lighting. There are adjustable beam options, select lamp configurations, along with choice of recess or trim.

"RECOGNIZED WALL WASH, GRAZE" ECOSPEC LINEAR HP
   FROM ECOSENSE

One of the brightest interior lights in its product family, Ecospec's multiple beam angles make this fixture great for wall grazing, backlighting, and ceiling applications.

"RECOGNIZED GRID CEILING" AL SERIES

This recessed LED luminaire has a clean, modern look that blends well with the ceiling. nLight controls come standard, making dimming and occupancy sensors nice additions.

"RECOGNIZED INDUSTRIAL" MILLENIUM OS
   FROM KENALL

Kenall's MOS is so new to the market, application photos haven't yet been released. This new robust fixture was designed specifically for stairwells, corridors, and high abuse areas. Its motion sensor allows step-dimming for periods of non-occupancy.

"RECOGNIZED WALL WASH, GRAZE" XOOLINE HYDRA HD25
   FROM LED LINEAR

LED Linear's high performance light bar lies within a linear aluminum profile. It offers diverse options for protected indoor areas, such as coves, corridors, foyers, and more.

"RECOGNIZED COLOR TUNING & DOWNLIGHTS"
   FROM USAI LIGHTING

These 2 products from USAI's downlight families offer a wide variety of color and intensity. With Color Select, the end-user can choose from 6000K all the way down to 2200K. Max Output's high delivery of lumens make it great for atriums, lobbies, ballrooms, and other high ceiling applications.

"EMERGING" OLED FAMILIES NOMI AND TRILIA, & AERA

These 3 products stay true to OLED's distinctive nature. Nomi is a sconce with a design inspired by a candle flame. Its contemporary look is great for hospitality spaces. Trilia's sections flow through space making single units or networks in creative patterns great for offices and retail.  Lastly, Aera is a truly unique lighting system, reminiscent of the sky being viewed through a window. Colors and luminance can be programmed.

The Next Generation Luminaires Design Competition is organized by IES (Illuminating Engineering Society), IALD (International Association of Lighting Designers), and DOE (Department of Energy).
Bagby would like to wish you and your family
