  Book Review Corner

Thank you to Mary Cahill for this wonderful review about books she utilized from our Non Profit Resource Center!!

"Thank you for the wonderful non-profit resource center available at your library. I am a volunteer for The Camp Harkness Fund, a 501c3 that helps raise funds for the use of the disabled consumers who frequent the park.  I found two helpful books in the NPRC collection: How to Write Successful Fundraising Letters by Mal Warwick and How to Write Fundraising Materials that Raise More Money : The Art, the Science, the Secrets by Tom Ahern.

Using the information I learned, I wrote the first-ever fundraising letter sent by our organization and canvassed our supporters for donations for the sensory garden we were planning.  And we successfully raised funds for the garden!  I plan to use the database to find grants and write the necessary documents to access additional funds." - Mary Cahill
