  1. Sugarplum Festival: Nov 6-8, Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art
    Mark your calendars for November 6 - 8th when the Albrecht-Kemper invites you to kick off your holiday shopping season as local and regional vendors transform the museum into a "Holiday Gift Gallery". This fundraiser for the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art features a special Preview Night, an exciting gift gallery, a holiday lunch caf�, and wine tasting, and so much more. The festivities start Thursday evening with the Preview Party and continue thru Saturday.  Admission is $10 and is good for all 3 days.
  2. Holiday Food and Gift Mart: Nov 15 & 16, Civic Arena
    Shop hundreds of merchants with handcrafted goods, home d�cor, gourmet foods, and a little something for everyone! The festival will provide shoppers with unique gifts that cannot be found anywhere else. Featuring art, crafts, jewelry, clothing, wood, music, photography, toys, Christmas d�cor, and much more!
  3. Last Saturday Craft: Nov 22, Remington Nature Center
    1-3pm. Be thankful it's Thanksgiving. Working with paper, guests make cornucopias to fill with goodies to take home, and also paper pumpkins to share on your Thanksgiving Day table. Crafts included with admission price.
  4. Holiday Park & South Pole: Nov 28- Jan 1, Krug and Hyde Parks
    The largest annual holiday lights display in Northwest Missouri will once again take place at Krug Park at the northern end of St. Joseph's famed Parkway. Started in 1981, today more than 100,000 visitors drive through each year to see the lavish display of lighted arches and trees, winter scenes and the park's lovely Italianate buildings breathtakingly outlined in lights. At the southern end of the Parkway, Hyde Park also will be dazzlingly lit for the holiday season. Admission is free to both parks, though donations are accepted.
  5. Tribute to Trans-Siberian Orchestra: Nov 29, Missouri Theatre
    Hear your favorite songs from Christmas Eve & Other Stories, The Lost Christmas Eve. Experience the power, the magic, music, lights and snow.
  6. NunCrackers - The Nunsense Christmas Musical: Dec 5-7, Robidoux Landing Playhouse
    The Nunsense Christmas Musical, NUNCRACKERS, is presented as the first TV special taped in the Cable Access Studio built by Reverend Mother in the convent basement. Featuring all new songs including "Twelve Days Prior to Christmas," "Santa Ain't Comin' to Our House," "We Three Kings of Orient Are Us" and "It's Better to Give than to Receive." It's the perfect way to insure that your holiday season is merry and bright!
  7. Irving Berlin's White Chrismas: Dec 12-14, Missouri Theatre
    Based on the beloved, timeless film, this heartwarming musical features 17 Irving Berlin songs. Two veterans have a successful song-and-dance act after World War II. With romance in mind, they follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge. The dazzling score features well known standards including "Blue Skies," "I've Got My Love To Keep Me Warm," and the perennial favorite, "White Christmas."
  8. Mayors Children's Christmas Party: Dec 13, Bode Ice Arena
    Come enjoy a Holiday Ice Show by the St. Joseph Figure Skating Club, skate with Santa Claus, and go home with a goodie bag & treats. Children and their guests (parents/guardians) get to skate for free.
  9. Last Saturday Craft: Dec 20, Remington Nature Center
    The holidays are right around the corner, so join us in making a holiday ornament. With beads, we'll be making candy canes and snowflakes. While crafting, enjoy some hot chocolate and holiday cookies. Crafts included with admission price.
  10. Holiday Pops: St Joseph Symphony Holiday Concert: Dec 20, Missouri Theatre

    Classical and Pops Holiday music featuring the New Generation Singers.  Enjoy favorite holiday music like the Hallelujah Chorus from The Messiah, music from the movie Frozen, Tales from the Vienna Woods, and Sleigh Ride.
