Fall is officially here - and while temperatures are dropping, things aren't slowing down for the Dulles Corridor Chapter.
We just held a CPSR webinar on October 22nd, and are looking forward to hosting Part 2 of this CPSR webinar series on January 28, 2015.
On Wednesday, November 12th, join us as we partner with the University of Virginia to present a 4-hour seminar, Understanding the Business Behind Subcontracting. Through her presentation and interactive breakout sessions, Professor Mary Ann Wengemann will focus on the business issues of subcontract management and the skills needed to develop stronger vendor relationships. Registration is open now and will be hosted at UVA's Falls Church, VA campus.
We're having a Fall Open House! November's seminar, Government Contract Law: Best Practices for the Contracting Profession, will be presented on Friday, November 21st by Christoph Mlinarchik, JD. As this is a 1-hour seminar (from 9 AM - 10 AM), we invite you to join us between 7:30 - 9 AM for breakfast, networking, and the chance to win a free seminar! During the networking hour, your chapter officers will be available to chat with you about opportunities to volunteer, become a chapter officer, and learn more about you and your topics of interest for future seminars. Additionally, for only $15, have a professional headshot taken for your website, company directory, or LinkedIn profile! Register for both online - this is something you won't want to miss.
In December, it's time we all take a break! We'll be back on January 16th, 2015 with our first seminar of the calendar year featuring Andrew Obermeyer, Director, Business Operations Center from DCMA.
Through the season, stay connected with us through social media and on our website, www.ncmadulles.org, and feel free to reach out to me directly at [email protected].
Take care,
Jessica Grant, CFCM
