All of us at Wolfe's are huge Red Wine Rhone junkies and for good reason. This may be one of the few places left in Europe that can deliver wine to the states still at a value. Wolfe's will focus much of our attention to the 2012 vintage and for good reason.  The 2012 wines are defined by their elegance, balance and freshness. Tannins are very much in evidence, but they are supple and rounded. The year's weather conditions gave the grapes the chance to show their true personalities: so Syrahs are highly expressive with flavors of pepper and violets, while Grenache covers a whole spectrum of red fruit flavors and gives added smoothness with a lovely sweet touch.
