Culture United
Chrisley Knows Best
Inclusion in this section is not an endorsement from Generations United. Rather, it is a way of showing the multiplying impact when the arts and pop culture are age-advantaged. This week's feature is Chrisley Knows Best, a USA Network reality show. The southern family patriarch and his wife are raising their mixed race grandchild. Learn more. Do you know of any films, books, music and TV shows with an intergenerational theme? Share them with us and we'll share in the weeks and months to come.

Cool Ideas
Building Bridges
In part 23 of our series, we feature Building Bridges, a program of the University of Missouri Extension. Tweet your cool intergenerational ideas to #cooligideas. You can also post them to our Intergenerational Connections Facebook Group or just text us through the FacebookMessenger app (friend me to join our Cool Ideas group discussion). We want to highlight innovative age-optimized programs and practices through our blog, social media and weekly e-newsletter! Disclaimer: Spotlighting ideas does not imply Generations United's endorsement or recommendation, but rather encourages ideas to inspire other programs. Share the inspiration. Quote
"Because [grandparents] are usually free to love and guide and befriend the young without having to take daily responsibility for them, they can often reach out past pride and fear of failure and close the space between generations." ~President Jimmy Carter
