A charity bike ride to benefit the kids of Thurston County.

Family and competitive rides in the morning, followed by lunch, entertainment, a kids area and more.

All proceeds from the ride go to TOGETHER!'s health and education programming for youth and families in Thurston and Mason County.

What and Why?

Biking with your kids is a positive experience for them, for your family and for the community. As a charity focused on making sure kids are supported, healthy and safe, we feel this ride is a perfect way to get moving and active. Families get time to bond, too, which is very important to kids' success as they themselves become adults.

In Bike Together!, families, recreational riders and competitive riders can all find a route they like. Choose from a 5-mile family loop to the north, a picturesque 10-mile ride heading south, or a 30-mile rural ride from Lacey to Rainier and back, all on marked bicycle trails. You'll find staffed rest stops at each turnaround, then return to Horizons for fresh wood-fired pizza, activities, community booths and more. Are there family members that don't want to ride but would like to join you afterward? You can buy additional lunch tickets for $5. Lunch for riders is included with registration.

Regular cotton T-shirts are available, as are performance dry long-sleeve shirts. Order those with your registration!

Times

Competitive rides start in heats between 9 and 9:45. Family riders can begin individually between 10 and 11. Lunch is open 11-1. Booths and activities available 9 to 1.

Details

• All riders must wear a helmet.
• Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
• While on the trail, access to restrooms may be limited. Please plan accordingly. Restrooms are available at the start/finish area.
• TOGETHER! is not responsible for lost/stolen items.
• Please come prepared to ride. Make sure you have safety-checked your bike and you have any equipment you may need. It's also a good idea to bring water. Safety checks may be available at the event but we cannot guarantee it.
