Gain the recognition you deserve within your community, your organization and among peer institutions through a Maryland Green Registry Leadership Award.  Winners are presented with a certificate, receive recognition through press, social media and notification to elected officials and will be featured in a video.
 

It's easy to apply. Just submit this application by April 30th with brief statements highlighting practices, projects and results in your member profile and the ways your organization ensures its commitment to continual environmental improvement. Past award winners have included a variety of facility types and sizes, but all have had several key factors in common that contribute to their success: an organization-wide commitment to environmental performance, a green team that meets on a regular basis, annual environmental goals and measurement of results. Your online member profile is considered as part of the application so it's a good idea to review it and make sure it's up to date. Have you displayed your Maryland Green Registry window decal or used the logo on your website or other promotional materials?  Snap a photo and e-mail it to marylandgreen@mde.state.md.us to be entered into a drawing for prizes at the Annual meeting on June 11, 2013.  See contest info here and entries here.  Contact us if you'd like us to send you a new window decal or digital files of the logo.

The Maryland Green Registry will be teaming up with Green Drinks Annapolis for an evening of fun, food and networking at The Westin Annapolis on June 11, 5:30-7:30 p.m. We'll recognize the Leadership Award Winners, announce the annual collective results of all Maryland Green Registry members and encourage Maryland environmental service providers (green builders, consultants, energy auditors, renewable energy companies, etc.) to attend and bring information.  More information to follow.
