 Getting your name out there and trying to raise it about above the 'noise' generated by everybody else is a major challenge for anybody in business. However, there is one fountain of knowledge that you have access to that you may be ignoring - your customer.
I always see to it that I make a point with even a prospect of saying "If you don't mind me asking, how did you hear about me then?" It can take you aback what convoluted way they actually used to find you and, more importantly, what search terms they used on the web if they did it that way.
It invariable leads to a rethink on that front so that others can find you more easily. As I keep saying on the Modern Day Networking sessions, you must keep in touch with your clients and this is one area that can pay unexpected dividends. That doesn't mean to say you ignore the traditional printed path to a client as you'll see below with the new 9001 Support Centre card on display. Don't miss out though, always ask.
