Two Florida CCIMs Recognized As 2014 Woman Of Influence
Real Estate Forum magazine recently selected Cate Agnew, CCIM, FRICS, MAI and Cynthia Shelton, CCIM, from Orlando, among four CCIMs recognized as women of distinction in the industry.
Agnew, director with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Miami and member of Florida CCIM's Broward District, provides real estate advisory services and consulting support for PwC's national clients. With expertise in financial reporting/auditing, analytical portfolio modeling, due diligence, and valuation/appraisal, Agnew oversees multiple client engagement teams and creates staff training programs that include CCIM Institute courses.
Shelton, director of investment sales at Colliers International in Orlando and member of Florida CCIM's Central District, has used her knowledge and networking expertise to advance the role of women in commercial real estate. Shelton is one of two women to have served as president of the national CCIM Institute organization. She has also held the top office in the Florida CCIM Chapter and in the Florida Association of Realtors, which includes more than 110,000 members. Shelton's business is focused on marketing and sales of single-tenant net lease investments and shopping centers in the Central Florida market. She also uses her vast range of industry experience as a senior instructor for the CCIM Institute.
